Work Work Work |
I started work for NB Power, the provincial electric power utility, on May 8, 1989. I am currently called an Information Technology Specialist - Generation (whatever that means) and work in the Generation Engineering department in the head office. I travel to the different powerplants on occasion, but mostly support them from my desk using our intranet.
Highlights of my work have been a seven-week trip to Switzerland for training, being the corporate PI guru, coding my own data acquisition system under OS/2, and drinking a zillion cans of Coke.
I also run my own company, Infinity Enterprises, doing consulting work - mostly custom programming.
