The Dance

A long, slow bow
A partner's smile
Balanced, ready...

A stately walk, hand in hand
Gentle kiss on delicate hand
A courtly bow

An exchange of places, palm to palm
Smoky looks with eyes alight
A devilish smile

A circle formed, made of four
Turning 'round and moving down
A gracious bow

This was written shortly after an SCA event. The dance described is a medieval dance known as "Hole in the Wall", a very courtly and flirtatious dance. Needless to say, I like the dance! :)
