A Blank Page

A blank page
Pristine whiteness
Awaiting its moment of glory
- To capture the printed word!

Pure and snow white
Seeking its destiny
Crying out for its chance for fame
To join its blessed brothers
Holding the wisdom of ages.

Written March 19, 1986

I was sitting in the Brunswickan, the student newspaper at the University of New Brunswick, looking at a blank sheet of paper. The words just leapt out on the page. :)
