VIA in New Brunswick - Special Events

There were a number of special events in New Brunswick in the past few years relating to VIA Rail:

VIA Veteran Train 2005

Brookfield

On November 9 and 13, 2005, VIA ran a special Veteran's Train between Halifax and Montreal to bring veterans to and from the Rememberance Day ceremonies in Ottawa. The train consisted of three engines and thirty cars, the longest passenger train in the Maritimes since World War II.
