VIA Rail ran a special War Brides train to honour the many brides of World War II. This train ran from Toronto to Halifax, and I was fortunate enough to chase it from Miramichi, New Brunswick. to Oxford Junction, Nova Scotia. The train featured 3 engines and 20 stainless steel Budd cars. This video has two of the segments I filmed, at Amherst, Nova Scotia and Oxford Junction.
